7 Reasons Why You Should Date An Anxious Person

Anxiety is a state of discomfort or uneasiness brought on by apprehension over an upcoming event or an unclear future.

According to someone with anxiety, this definition provides little insight into what is going on in our minds.. Worry? Absolutely. Is this a sign of anxiety and nervousness? You’ve figured it out! There is a nagging feeling of panic that lurks beneath our skin, ready to burst forth at any moment and for any reason.

Why a Nervous Nelly Person is a Good Match for You?

Regardless of what you’ve read, I’m here to tell you why you should date someone who suffers from anxiety: because it’s good for you. Anxiety opens the door to great traits in a person that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to access.

  1. We’ve got an insane amount of ingenuity. By “creative,” I don’t imply that everyone can produce an exact reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. I mean, if you’d like to know what could happen in any given situation, we’re the ones to call! We’re equipped with wildly imaginative minds that can assist you with just about anything.

Whether you’re preparing for an interview or stuck in a rut at work, this is a great place to look for new ideas.

2. Over-preparation is a hallmark of our culture. The stress of forgetting a necessary item or not having all you need for a trip will be a thing of the past. With so many different outcomes and situations running through our heads at any given time, we’ll make sure that we’re prepared for anything.

In the event of a shark attack, we will be the first on the scene with an ambulance-sized first-aid kit, even if the bag is overstuffed with “apparently” unnecessary supplies.

3. Whether or not we’re upset will always be clear to you. Even while we are enraged, we won’t pretend we aren’t—mostly because we can’t help ourselves. As soon as we’re in a state of emotional distress, our body language will give it away.

What are the benefits to you of this? For the simple reason that you’ll be able to tell us the truth about the problem and resolve it. Communication between a couple is much improved if the problem is identified as soon as possible. Since many people tend to keep their problems to themselves and avoid confronting them, this can lead to broken relationships.

  1. We don’t hide our feelings, and we don’t hide them well. Of course, in a figurative sense. No one wears Post-it notes on their t-shirts to describe their feelings; that would be bizarre. As a result, persons with anxiety have a harder time keeping their emotions under control. In other words, even if we don’t want you to, you’ll always be able to tell what we think about something.

I don’t know why this is happening. Maybe we’re afraid that if you don’t know how we feel, you’ll believe we don’t care as much and you’ll move on. With one look at us, you’ll know exactly what our feelings are for you—even if we haven’t spoken it outright.

  1. Motivating ourselves isn’t a problem for us. We can stay motivated to do something despite our worry by imagining the bad repercussions of not taking action.

Because if I don’t go to the gym, I’ll gain weight, which means my significant other won’t like me, and they’ll break up with me, leaving me alone, and then I’ll be fat from eating buckets of ice cream to deal with my loneliness, and then I’ll be forced to become one of those crazy cat ladies. AHHH!

As someone with anxiety, we are able to see so far into the future that it helps us stay motivated to fulfill our current tasks.

You’re wondering, “How can this benefit you?” Because we’ll keep you on track and energizing you to accomplish your objectives. All of us here at the school hope that your future will be equally as bright as ours.

6. When it comes to our priorities, we never lose sight of what is most essential to us. It’s difficult to worry about gossip and the latest fashion trends when you’re suffering from anxiety. Due to our preoccupation with the future, we often focus on the things that are most important to us today and will have a lasting impact on our life.

Because we’ll be focused on you, we won’t get caught up in drama or worry about how our outfit looks. Also, if something is important to you, it is important to us, because you are so essential to us.

7. If you ever need us, we will be there for you. At least, not on purpose. On my list of priorities, this is the last item, but it is perhaps the most crucial. If you’re anxious, you have a distinct way of thinking about your activities. As a result, we are much more conscientious about our actions and the impact they have on the larger picture. As human beings, we excel in understanding and empathizing with those around us.

Whenever anything bad happens, we’re left wondering, “What if they did it to me?” when we make decisions. I’m not sure how I’d feel about that.” To be honest, we can feel the agony we might create because of our vivid imaginations, and no one in our lives wants to cause another person misery.

Also, we’re inclined to shed a tear when something heartbreaking happens on the big screen. Certainly, we’re going to shed a few tears. All the time.
